LeashOps Terms of Service
Effective 14 October 2026 (draft)
These terms are between Maude LLC, 121 South Hamilton Street #104, Madison, Wisconsin 53703 ("we", "us") and the pet-care business that signs up for LeashOps ("you", "the company"). Staff and pet owners who use the app through a company are covered by that company's own agreement with them and by our Privacy Policy.
The service
LeashOps is scheduling, messaging and payment-tracking software for pet-care businesses. We provide it as it is described in the app and on our website, and we may improve or change it over time.
Your account
- You must be an adult able to enter a contract for your business, and the information you give us must be accurate.
- You are responsible for what happens under your company's logins, including keeping office passcodes and staff PINs private.
- You are responsible for your own staff and customers: for their consent to be in the app, for what you tell them, and for the care your business gives.
Subscription and payment
- LeashOps is a paid monthly subscription priced by the size of your team, shown in the app before you subscribe. Cards are processed by Stripe; we never see your card number.
- The subscription renews each month until you cancel. You can cancel from the app at any time and it stops at the end of the period you have paid for.
- Applicable sales tax is added where the law requires it.
- Fees already paid are not refunded. If you cancel, LeashOps keeps working until the end of the month or year you have paid for, and no further charge is made.
Your data
Your company's customer, staff and visit information belongs to you. You give us permission to store and process it only to run LeashOps for you. We never sell it. You can ask for a copy at any time, and we handle it as described in our Privacy Policy.
What you agree not to do
- Use LeashOps for anything unlawful, or to send people messages they have not agreed to receive.
- Try to get into another company's information, or to break or overload the service.
- Copy, resell or reverse-engineer the software.
Availability
We work to keep LeashOps running and backed up, but we cannot promise it will never be interrupted. Do not rely on the app alone for an emergency; your staff and customers should always be able to phone each other.
Limits on our responsibility
[to be filled in: LIABILITY: this section should be written by your lawyer. It normally says LeashOps is provided "as is", excludes indirect losses, and caps what Maude LLC can owe at the fees you paid in the previous period, as far as Wisconsin law allows.]
Ending the agreement
You may stop at any time by cancelling. We may suspend or end an account that breaks these terms or is not paid, and we will give notice where we reasonably can. When an account ends, your data is handled as the Privacy Policy describes.
Changes
If these terms change in a way that matters, we will tell you in the app and update the date above. Using LeashOps after that means you accept the change.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wisconsin.
